Centre Surface Slitter Rewinders
ALPHASHAFT centre surface winders with one or two shafts have short web paths for high productivity and control of narrow webs, typically used for paper, nonwovens, foams and pressure sensitive tapes.
The short web path from the slitting knives to the rewinds is common to all styles for accurate roll alignment. The surface drive rolls control the web tension precisely up to the rewinds for controlled rewinding tension up to the rewinds, even when winding narrow slit rolls.
Examples shown:
- Narrow width slitting on ALPHASHAFT with radial or linear tracking rewinds. Also available for nonwovens with fully cantilevered rewinds and mating unload trees.
- Linear tracking simplex centre surface winder for nonwovens and textiles. This compact machine efficiently delivers light slit rolls of the highest quality.
